Warm + Cozy Winter Lattes

Everybody loves a Latte, and when it comes to this time of year, people are scrambling to their nearest Starbucks for an egg nog or a pumpkin pie spiced variety.

But you can skip the queues and stay safe at home enjoying some delicious seasonal coffees using the recipes below.

TURMERIC GOLDEN MILK LATTE

Not only is this bad boy supportive to the immune system but it helps to fight temporary inflammation. Whether you went on a long run, are dealing with inflamed organs or are just looking for an overall boost, this baby has you covered.

Combine everything into a blender, blend until smooth and put into a pot to heat up!

1 1/2 cups of Almond Milk (or your milk of choice, I love Cashew)

1 spoonful of honey (or maple syrup)

1 spoonful of Almond Butter (or PB)

4 drops Turmeric (doTerra ONLY)

2 drops Cinnamon Bark (doTERRA ONLY)

1 drop (or less.. I sometimes use a drop on a toothpick and swirl) of Black Pepper (doTERRA ONLY)

LAVENDER LATTE

You can enjoy this recipe either with OR without the coffee. In the evenings I love it without and drink it before bed for its incredible calming benefits but if you want to enjoy it in the morning, you can add your espresso. You still get the calming benefits but also get that nice pep from the java.

6 oz of dark brewed coffee

1/2 steamed and frothed your favourite milk (I like cashew or peanut milk)

1 tsp coconut sugar or whatever sweetener you prefer

1 drop Lavender essential oil (doTERRA only)

Mix’er up and enjoy!

If you omit the coffee, add a little more milk

PUMPKIN PIE SPICED LATTE

I couldn't finish this post without giving you this final recipe. This is a bullet proof version of the popular Starbucks version, which is soooo much more nourishing for your body. If you're vegan, skip the butter for a little more coconut oil.  

6 oz coconut cream

½ cup coffee (freshly brewed)

1 cup pumpkin puree

1 Tbsp coconut oil

2 Tbsp grass-fed butter

pinch of ground vanilla

1 drop cinnamon bark essential oil

1 drop clove bud essential oil

1 drop ginger essential oil
