“Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

It seems like everywhere I turn people are revelling in telling me how terrible 2020 has been.

I get it. There's been a lot.

But I believe what we need now, more than ever, is people speaking hope into our lives. Positive words and encouragements, and that's why I've teamed up with some amazing wellness advocates to create the 'Hope Project'.

It's free to join, you'll need some oils, a pen and some post-it notes to take part, but we have a form you can fill in if you're struggling with any of those.
For 30 days we'll be using Tangerine oil (or another citrus, but Tangerine is our recommendation) alongside teaching powerful tools to help create hope - from forgiveness and gratitude to boundaries and exercise.

So why tangerine oil?

Tangerine has a long history of use in both Chinese medicine and herbal health practices. It's known for supporting healthy digestion and metabolism, the immune system and respiratory health.

More importantly, for our purposes, it can be used to help soothe anxious feelings and manage stress. Tangerine's strong qualities of joyfulness can lift even the darkest of moods, encourage creativity and optimism.

This oil is so wonderful for people who are feeling overburdened with high responsibility strengths and are struggling to make space for spontaneity and lighthearted playfulness.
Tangerine helps teach us to enjoy life abundantly and brings back the freedom of living in the present and not worrying about things that we can't control.

Throughout the hope project, we'll also be using Adaptiv. If you didn't manage to get hold of a convention kit, it's available in your back office from tomorrow (July 1st) so you can grab some on your LRP, and if you don't have an account, get in touch and I, or one of the coaches, will most likely be able to help you with some samples.
